Has anyone here gone Full Metal Jacket Dinan
I would appreciate feedback from anyone about the full engine swap for 100 more HP etc.
Anyone with experience? Thanks in advance

I have some seat time in stroked M3......I'm a huge fan of Dinan but I wouldn't waste the coin on a stroker motor..................Phil

I drove it prior to adding my X-pipe and my thoughts were.......it made power quickly throughout the RPM range. The torque didn't blow me away but there was a noticeable difference. I guess I got behind the wheel expecting 20 large ($20,000) + in improvements. I thought my car at the time had the right amount of mods......but now that I've added the X-pipe I know it has the right amount. The racing exhaust is the best bang for the money in Dinan mods. As I stated earlier, I like Dinan products but I'm not a fan of the stroker motor. Oh and to answer your question about the level of sound, the Dinan exhaust and x-pipe are tame when you want and people moving when you need it to be. Let's just say my neighbors haven't complained about it

+1 With the exhaust. I just installed the rear mufflers and love them. No drone whatsoever but mean as hell with the windows down. I would get the middle racing section but I need to pass emissions. Dinan cold air intake should be here this week followed by stage one software. Very impressed with their engineering. I've always wanted a "Dinan" BMW and now I am starting to spend on Dinan products! Either stay sock or the mod bug will bite you big time!
