OT: Anyone notice the moon tonight? (pic)

The moon was amazing tonight... looked like the star(?) was going to drop right into it. Here's a noisey pic I took from my bedroom of my 'weekday apartment' in LA... the star was better aligned with the moon earlier in the night but I didn't think of taking the pic. Oops.

Enjoy,

Beautiful picture! The moon is coming out of the new moon phase, so it should be pretty dramatic during this time. Surprised though that you can even see the sky in L.A.....hahahaha.....SMOG ALERT!!!

Thanks Jon.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this year. I have some volunteer work I had already committed to. Just bad timing I guess (as usual).

Still haven't made a bimmerfest event yet.

Hopefully next year...

It's Venus that you are seeing near the moon. It is pretty cool!
