e21 wiring!
i am looking for the most economical way to replace or repair all the wiring harnesses under the hood!!! They all work but due to age the insulation of the wires and the rubber seems to be breaking litttle by little!help!!!

Don't know if there is an economical way to replace it. I don't even want to contemplate what BMW would charge, if it's even still available. Should you wish to repair what you've got, check out this site. http://www.eagleday.com/elparandtool.html

There are indy loom builders but this is not a cheap problem. Check out some restoration mags..
