Ordering F30 M3 for ED

I posted this in the ED forum, but also wanted to get thoughts from those of you that have pre-ordered a F30 for ED.

So here is my situation...my 135i lease is up August of 2013. This is right around the estimated release of the F30 M3 (I've heard June/July/August). I want to do ED but with it being a new model , how would ED work, especially since it would coincide with the start of production? How much lead time would I get to place order/reserve ED? Anyone with experience setting up an ED before the model started production?

I don't think the F30 M3 will be out by then. The E92 M3 concept car was not launched until 3/6/2007, two and a half years after the E90 sedan press release (10/26/2004). That was just the concept car launch, the production car press releases came out later in 07 and the E90 M3 and E92 M3 did not go on sale in the US until spring of 08. That is about 3 years after you could get an E90 sedan. So apply that timeline to the F30 3 series and you've got the sedans JUST hitting dealerships in 2012 so you can count on at least 2 years, if not three until the M3 is coming out. I'd be surprised if you can get an F32 Coupe in the time frame you're talking about let alone the M3.
