Expensive break between holidays!
Picked up a new 2012 alpine white m3! I agonized over the MT vs DCT also (as many others have). I test drove a manual three times over the last year but could not get used to the soft clutch. I had a Mazda speed 3 that was very heavy and ruined me! I stumbled upon a 2012 AW DCT and took it for a ride and was hooked!
I think for this car, the dct is perfect! it does take some getting used to though! I took it out early this morning and carved up some country roads (shifting with my finger tips with both hands on the wheel) and it was awesome! This forum is a great resource. Thanks to all who contribute!

Congrats!
I too agonized over MT v. DCT and eventually went with DCT. Although I am still in the 1200 mile purgatory period, I increasingly feel that I made the right decision for me...nice to be able to say "no regrets". Pics!!!

Follow Up Pics
One weird experience so far. Came home after being away and found oil on garage floor with a whopping 140 miles. The oil filler cap was leaking! Dealer fixed it pronto and all is well.
