Not complete information on pricing because it doesn't have the price for the M sport package. That's what I'm waiting for. can't wait to order that. Estoril blue should be a nice color although I hate to give up my montego blue. I'm guessing it's going to be in the $4,800 range which is fine if they offer it in the 328.

I was thinking the same thing. Seems like some of the required stuff is quite intentional to drive up the price of the car.

I just priced mine all out. (Would post image of spreadsheet here, but can't figure out how without uploading somewhere else and linking.)

Am happy to find that based on my MSRP-to-invoice estimates (estimated based on info on Bimmerfest), I'll still come in at ED Invoice of $48,942 for a *loaded* 335i. Add in some dealer markup and I'm still under $50k. Very reasonable, if you ask me (and assuming my estimates are correct).

Xenons require ZPP? Yeah it better be a typo as I will not get a 3 series with dimming mirrors (BMW's mirrors are awful when dimmed and unlike most manus you can't turn off that worthless crap - you just are blind to what's behind you). After 3 BMWs and a Cooper with xenons I'll never buy another car without xenons. If they really go this way they lost me before I ever drive one. 335i is not an option as I never liked that engine in my last one (or the weight in corners), it comes standard with those crappy mirrors and also standard with a moonroof (yuck).

This better be wrong.

Why would they deny enthusiasts this way? I know 2 people with sport/xenon equipped 3 series cars and I'm not one of them (my last 3 series was lemoned).

What dealer are you going with?
I am in DFW area too and used the dealer in Temple for my E46 ED since they were the only ones willing to take ED invoice + $1K.

Are you planning PCD too?

I will likely wait for Sep/Oct ED to get M-Sport.

Are you guys going to get leather seats and the moonroof? That's $2,500. If you get power seats with memory for seat and mirror adjustment that's another $995. Totaling $3,495. ZPP is the ONLY way you get lumbar support. (a must have for me & I don't have back problems, I do make long drives) If so, you might as well get the ZPP, 'cause it's only $105 more than stand alone leather, moonroof and power seats with memory and you get comfort access and the built-in garage door opener.

Blue-dot you'll just have to put a little piece of electrical tape over the mirror sensor.

I'm buying through Adrian Avila at BMW of South Atlanta. I couldn't find any dealers in Dallas that either knew what they were doing with ED and/or were willing to do it for a reasonable price.

Unfortunately, I realized after my post that I forgot to account for the delivery fee, which will push it just over $50

Congrats!! Are you paying full MSRP? I hate the fact that those zenons require the premium package.

DOnt know what im paying yet. I have bought 10+ cars from this dealer, but its brand new so I could see them being pricks. I would expect 1000-1250 off msrp.

And yea, not getting the xenons sucks. If it was a 900 standalone option, no brainer, but it get xenons, it would add 3grand to my sticker price. (about 70 a month). But, the halogens will do just fine, i wish it had some type of led lighting feature(it is 2012) But so well. Budget is a budget and i am happy to be under 42K.

Now i just need to decide about the $300 steering option and the $900 m suspension.

Also, hope i can somehow talk the dealer into getting me the 19" 335 wheels for $900(probably wont happen tho)

I agree there's conflicting information that has to sorted out.. and hopefully the list is not complete... Example information posted on another forum states from reliable sources 704 Sport Suspension will be offered as standalone option for the Lux or Modern Lines. Any mention of 481 Sport Seats to be offered as well?

The only way you can get sport suspension is sport line...you can actually choose sport suspension or +$900 msport suspension within the sport line...you can not get sport suspension on modern or luxury. Also only way to get sport seats is sportline.

Tut,

ZPP has one thing I want - comfort access. The rest I can do without. I may get leather if saddle brown is available. Otherwise, no black, no beige and gray I've had on two but with a kid that's not an option I want now.

Ideally the M-Sport package will allow people to get xenons without ZPP. I'm quite annoyed by BMW's packaging decisions and "only if" nonsense. This is the kinda crap Infiniti, GM and Ford pull. We shouldn't be forced into a ton of features we dislike just to get one thing we like. 3 BMWs in less than ten years, so it's not like I'm a newb at buying them or someone who buys once and holds for 10-15 years.

It would be one thing if the xenons needed the premium package to work...but we know that is not the option. I am going to ask my dealer to do what they can and try get the xenons without the premium. No way am i bending over for BMW.
