I wonder why the residuals on all the 7 series are good except the hybrid, I mean 54 percent for the hybrid compared to 62-63 percent for most of the 7 series line up..The hybrid went from a good deal to a terrible deal..

As my law school professor used to tell me, "Jon, the Question is the Answer"...

Look what happened here with the 750iAH. That deal (ED++++) is probably what we used to call a "digger". In other words,
by the time all of the incentives were paid out, they lost money. Just a hunch. Now they are licking their wounds. The Bimmerfest
Members who scored those deals truly scored...

A 7 is the worst BMW anyway, the word "hybrid" only adds insult to the injury. OK I just couldn't resist.

Thanks Jon for the numbers, so nothing for the E90?

Looks to me they want to move some X5s, but I can't find many of them around.

Thanks Jon!

These are 15K mile correct?

If we have locked the December incentives (mission and loyalty mf reduction) can we apply those using this months money factor and residual or are we locked to the old mf and residual??

Thanks!

You can't mix and match programs, you can use either Decembers or this months

The posted residuals are based on 15k mi/yr. Add 2 pts. for 12k, and another one for 10.

FYI.... X5;'s are very popluar overseas in Russia and China in addition to US...........the X5's are hot property............ there is no trouble selling them......... I don't think BMW is being agressive w/ them, the deals are actually much worser than last month, IMHO

quick note if you locked in Dec. you can still get a sweet deal on any BMW especially a 6 or 7 series........... Jan...... ahhhh.. no so sweet!

How does that work. There was a price increase Jan. 1.

If you ordered a car in December you agreed upon a price and locked in a rate.

If January's residuals and MF are better than December's and you choose to use them, what price do you apply them to when your negotiated price was calculated using incentives that have now expired?

You can't go by January's pricing. Do you just remove the incentives from the price of the car?

See my point.

January's residuals rock!

You have a choice of one of two options:

(1) use Dec costs/programs/rates or
(2) use Jan costs/programs/rates

Obviously you will select which route saves you the most money...

even if they didn't lose money, they probably pre-sold most of their planned production run for the next several months.

The mission to drive incentive was valid until Jan 3. I locked in my deal on Jan 2 on an X5. Does that mean I can get the $1000 credit with the Jan residuals? Thanks

Exclamation Model Year 2011 Residuals

Ok gang, I cannot emphasize enough about how this is it, THE END of Sales Support for E90 and the remainder of new leftover 2011 BMW models.
Below you will find a summary of the residuals so that you can calculate your own leases. The build-out cash is also listed. I can't see how anybody
would hassle me about posting this info (trunk money) because it is also plastered all over the Net. That, and these cars REALLY GOTTA GO...

I've got a few E90s available for Internet Special Pricing. The fact that we still have any 335 diesels remaining in inventory is completely amazing to me...

Anyway, it's Friday, and I hope you all have a great weekend...

I suppose these residuals are not applicable to 2012 models leased on 3rd Jan'12. Is that a correct assumption?. In essence we cannot combine with incentives of 2011 calendar year.

Thanks much !.

So Greg why did they bump the X5 residuals by as much as 5%? Did they do the same for the E90s?

Sorry Jon, just missed your PDF.

Looks like the M3 residuals are the same for 2012 models, unless I'm missing something.

I am sure X5s are popular and that BMW can sell them in spite of the Chinese market slowing and China imposing anti-dumping duties on the vehicle. However, there obviously is a contradiction between the statement "I don't think BMW is being aggressive w/them" and the difference in residuals between the 5.0 and the 35d/i. In real life, a used 35d/i sells for a higher percentage of MSRP than the 5.0. So, obviously, the 5.0 lease is being subsidized relative to a 35d/i due to the higher BMWFS residual for the 5.0. Is that being aggressive? You decide.

So I did a inventory search, it turned out there are many X5s. Although the 328xi and 335xi are almost non-exist.

The best lease deals last month did not benefit CA, the best lease deals this month still leave CA behind.
