e2i Conversion Question

Hello All,

I am currently in the middle of doing my e2i conversion. The problem is, when I took my old
intake manifold off and compared it to my manifold from a 325i, there is a slight difference in
the hose connections. Where the fuel pressure regulator has a vacuum hose that connects to
the intake manifold, my old one has another nipple piece and hose that goes out of the other
side, yet the new one does not. Is it necessary to have this piece in order to put the new
manifold on? Can I just tap and JB weld a new one on? Thanks
