Thanks for sharing these pix!

How does its interior room compare to the 5er?

Any word on a 'd finding its way over here?

Echoing what others have been saying - great pics. I went through them all again tonight and there's a lot of detail there.

Not sure if you will get a chance to go back and take more, but if so... any chance you could peek that camera a little further under the rear bumper to see if you can catch a shot of the Comfort Access trunk sensor? I'm kinda curious what that looks like & exactly where it's positioned.

Or maybe you don't want to be "that guy" snapping pictures up the F30's skirt... really can't say I would blame you there...

As a current E90 owner, I am curious if the seats in the F30 are any more comfortable than the E90 seats (I don't have the sport seats).

We know that a Diesel variant is being "talked" about right now but there is nothing definitive. The best answer I can give you is that BMW noticed how popular the 335d was and how passionate that group is -- now it comes down to them making a decision. My personal take is that it might be leaning towards having a Diesel model in the line up...but that is just my best guess.

Regarding the idrive screen. It has been previously reported that there will be two versions of the screen available. If you get Navigation you get a larger nicer screen (the one that looks like half an ipad). If you do not get nav you get the smaller screen in the pictures shown here. This is the first time I have seen this screen. Not sure I like it as much as the other or the one on my E90.

I'm pretty sure previous mockups, showed the smaller screen was the same design as the larger screen, (ipad like) just a smaller size...oh well

I sat in the new F30 non sport seats. I thought they felt like the old e90 non sport seats. I would never buy without the sports seats now. My '07 had non sport, so I have had both.

I personally absolutely hated the new nav screen. I was at the NAIAS so I saw it in person, this isn't my veiw from the photos. It looks totally like it was a first generation nav screen from 1990 something, that they decided to add after the car had left production. I really think they dropped the ball on this one.

The best new Nav screen I saw was in the Audi S7. It moved out horizontally from a stored location in the dash and then folded up into position. It was virtually unnoticable when chosed. I should have shot some video of it. I realise that this is much more expensive car than the F30, but it was very classy and worth mentioning.

The thing is the screen is going to be in use every time the car is in use. What is the purpose of having it hide in the dash? Are you supposed to just sit in the car without starting it and stare at the dash?

BMW introduced this design in the new 6er. Not an inexpensive car.
