just revisiting this thread. to those who use the presents for the split-screen content, how do you do that??? i tried one setting where i have nav on the main screen and the arrow directions on the split on 1 preset (i was able to do this), but i wanted nav and entertainment details on another button. i couldnt get it to do this however. any help would be appreciated. Program a button to take you to "split screen content" then you can scroll to all the different options rather than a single option.

When in nav mode, i have my map on the left, entertainment details on the right and arrow display on my HUD.

When not using HUD, i like to be able to switch to any option on the right side hence why i have a button programmed to split screen content.

Could use at least two more buttons . . .
7 - Nigh/day mode
8 - Split screen with turn-by-turn directions . . . yes this does show up on the HDD, but my wife likes seeing it too.

BMW could have added an ALT button and doubled the programmable buttons to 10.
kind of nood how do you set up number 4 locate diesel station??
thanks

thanks for the replies. for those that use the presets to toggle night and day mode, how do you do that? i was able to set the night mode for navigation, but dont know how to make it do day mode again? do you just use the button to bring you to the night mode option then turn it on? even that doesnt seem to wanna work (saving the screen to the night mode option). i have a 2012 x5 if that helps.

cheers.

Find you way to night mode in idrive, press it or check it, can't remember, screen goes to night mode, press desired preset button and hold until it connects. Did this last night.
