2004 BMW X3 "Rear apron trim for sports exhaust"

Has anyone tried this? Part number is 82160392251.

The name suggests this is for a "sports" exhaust. What does that mean? I have the sports package, not sure if have the sports exhaust.

According to the pitcure of realoem.com, it looks like it is either a accessory or a part that comes built in with the car. Can't tell.

Also, I installed the nice looking chrome tips (accessory, part number 82120305010). Not sure is the apron is compatible with these tips.
