Entering in the hidden Idrive menu "settings"

Since i have new software on my car, not sure what has been changed, I can no longer enter the hidden Idrive menu.
What am I doing wrong?; ignition on, main menu, Press 8 secs, 3R, 3L, R, L, R, press, does not work anymore.
I would like to enter the menu again, how to achieve that?

Some additional information about software version and other specs of the car.
And the live actions of your GPS.

Damn Sophisto, you weren't supposed to tell PsychDoc about the secret menu. Now we'll have to kill him. Pity. He seemed like a decent guy.

If I do it right, do I learn about "the DOT?"

Before killing the doc, I would liketo know if he gets it working in his car....

Unlocking the ServiceMenu Option
Several important functions can be checked directly at the CIC with the aid of the
Service menu. This menu can be used to select and adjust settings that are not visible
for the customer.
The procedure for starting the Service menu with the "safe grip" has changed compared
to the CCC system:
Call up Start menu
Push controller in up direction for at least 10 s.
Controller 3 notches to the right
Controller 3 notches to the left
Controller 1 notch to the right
Controller 1 notch to the left
Controller 1 notch to the right
Press controller once.
The Service menu is now added as the last submenu to "Settings".
Four selection menus are available in the Service menu of the CIC:
Navigation
Telephone and BMW Service
TV (Not for US)
Gracenote

Sophisto:

It still works for mine. Make sure your start with highlight bar on the top menu item when you begin.

I got four menu items:

Navigation
Telephone and BMW Service
Gracenote
The Dot

This has never worked for me. Then again, I didn't try it until my car got updated software. I bet BMW found the exploit and patched it.

Found it;

with the Idrive controller;

In main menu go to setings
push the controller forward for 10 seconds
turn right three clicks
turn left three clicks
turn right one click
turn left one click
turn right one click
one short push down

enter in settings
under profiles there will now be a new service menu you can enter

Helas;
It is not possible to alter things in there.
And nothing about retracting parking brakes....

Can someone please post screen shots of what this "submenu" looks like?

And please confirm whether or not it goes away upon restart...

Thanks!
