Oxidation on outside or inside?

I was looking at this 2006 750Li this past week, being sold by a small dealer. The headlights are looking a bit oxidized. I figured that the dealer would have polished up the headlights to get them looking better. Then I wondered if this might be on the *inside* where it would be difficult to get clean.

Has anyone seen oxidation or other fogginess on the inside rather than the outside of headlights?

That appears mostly outside due to the plastic deteriorating, but Im sure that car has it on the inside too. Doesnt look like a low mileage car.

It will show significant improvement if you wet-sand the plastic, but you will need to seal it with something like Opti-Coat 2.0 (~$60). Most of that yellow stuff is on the outside, so it should be only an hour or two of work by hand.

BTW, the driver side headlight looks cracked, and the front bumper is out of place. Minor accident damage?

Might be minor accident damage. Here's a pic of the corner of that side of the bumper.
