Imperial Metallic Blue -- Any Good In SW Climate?

Want to hear from owners with this paint how it does in summer heat. The car I'm looking at also has the Opal White Interior. Any insights appreciated. My black Panamera has been a disaster in the desert and it has the thermal glass option. Many desert owners go with white, never been a fan. Silver would be first choice, but only available with tragic black interior.

Brown Interior in the photo would be my choice. White will need special attention to keep clean. Black is great for resale.

I have Carbon Black with the Oyster interior and live in the desert (AZ). After 5+ years, the paint has held up extremely well. I credit this to proper detailing and garaging the car as much as possible. I've considered window tint for the windshield, but find regular (monthly) conditioning of the interior does just fine. Aside from my worn out center arm rest, the leather is flawless.

In terms of actual temp control for usage, I have my car coded to fully operate windows from my fob (instead of just down which is default I think).

In terms of product, my car was opti-coated back in 2010 and even now after several different applications of other products it looks great. I let my car go through an automated washer 10 times while a friend borrowed it. I am still astonished by how well the paint held up to that beating. I credit opti-coat and einzsett products for that.

All that said, my car is near black and it certainly gets hotter and shows micro scratches as expected, especially given how sunny it is here.

Regular detailing is the only real solution IMO.

Good luck.
Ditched my M5 (E39) for a family car (740Li in Carbon Black/Oyster). No regrets, just occasional shifting withdrawal without the beast!
