Pricing on new X5 3.0 in California

I am in the market for an '04 X53.0. How much over invoice are people paying? Any rebates or incentives going on now? I know the X3's have free automatic, does this apply to the X5's too? Also any dealer recommendations? I would prefer someone in the Bay Area but am willing to travel anywhere in California if I can get between $500 and $1000 over invoice.

I got 1200 over invoice yesterday, no hassle, no haggles for it either. That's pretty fair I think.

Which dealer? I have a friend interested in a X5 and he's not the type to do much haggling.

Yeah, mine was an X3, but with X5 sales down i'm sure you could get something similar. Plus what helped was that it was the last day of the month.

I went to BMW of San Diego. I really like how they have a printout which explains all the costs and fees involved. It's really straightforward and a great way to do business.
