"No tire kickers" kills me, makes me want to walk up and boot the fender of whatever they are selling

So what they really mean is do not look at my car see what's wrong with it and tell me.

"if someone buys ur getting a 70000 car when new"

"this car is for the peson who knows this car and wants it,and doesnt need to call asking how much hp it has.worth every penny."

You're actually about $15k off and anyone who actually "knows" this car will know that. So your offending the people who don't know about the car and people who do. Who's left?

This was $8,000 last week. The price now isn't that high, but his ad kind of put me off. I've actually met this guy too, he didn't seem like this in person.

I love the idea of this thread! I see so many CL ads that are laughably bad, almost like the people don't even want to sell their cars. The really bad ones I'll sometimes troll, its always great fun to email them and get them all worked up.

^ This, especially the last part. I get less than 40% response rate to my questions when replying to CL postings. Just ridiculous. Why post if you don't want to be bothered?

Don't put "SOLD!" on the ad when it sells. TAKE YOUR DANG AD DOWN WHEN THE ITEM SELLS! It doesn't take a genius to remove the ad. You posted it, you can surely figure out how to remove it!

Gee, this is a fun rant thread!

I like when people claim power numbers with the information they found when the car rolled of the line.

some things that aggravate me:

15,000$ E36 M3's with over 200K offend me.

Have to see it to believe it, without pictures...

Rare Automatic tranny.

adding the cost of your mods to the average selling price of the car. (ex. 8000$ m3 +3000$ rims + intake and exhaust= 15000$ car.)

318 M3's with a 4 cylinder:

This! http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ339858935

I had listed my m3 for trade a while back i got the following offers before i gave up:
-Chrysler intrepid
-30 foot camping trailer
-acura integra
-Dirtbike.
+other non-interesting offers. blah.

oh god, it was 2 or 3lbs of weed and a Honda Accord

In other trades I've also been offered a "legal" crossbow, saxophone, and probably 20 "vintage" guitars.

RARE 1993 325is LOL

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/ctd/2804116260.html

Whats rare about 93 325is?

Also many sellers say "SUNROOF" as something that people want? But in fact if the car is non sunroof it is worth more money because it is more reliable and lighter.
