Awesome!

They are great in light to medium snow. Haven't tried them in heavy (12" or more) stuff.
Just an all around GREAT tire!

They are awesome! We are getting snowed on heavily in Chicago as I'm typing and driving. Great tires!

I've had'em since September. What a difference after I took original Dunlop Maxx off. It's a much softer tire which makes it a much softer ride. I had experienced driving them in wet, dry, snow conditions. No road noise so far.

sounds excellent. I'm trying to decide between the Conti Extreme Contact DWS and the Proxes ST2's. Toyo would save $45/tire, so that's a significant savings.

I believe rear tires DWS 315 size were on national back order. This is the reason I bought Proxes. No regrets though.

No humor intended. Didn't see the word "parked" anywhere in your post. Just "snowed on heavily in Chicago as I'm typing and driving". But I'll drop it.

Seeing as you are from Chicago I'm sure you are familiar with this story

lighten up you tool. we are talking tires here not texting. NY'ers. ugh. F the Giants.

i'm on my second set of STIIs and i can say without any experience in snow (rare here and i wouldn't drive in it anyway) that these are by far the best non RFT you can put on an X5. my first set ran almost 55K miles thru heavy rain and fugly heat. the XL version wears like iron. this is my DD and my work vehicle. i average 22K per year and i am not tenative with the throttle on my 4.8.

oh yeh, F the Giants

oh hell, i just noticed that Mr NYC drives an X THREE. pull up your panties bitch and move on.

oh and of course.................... F the Giants.

Hey bubba,

Thanks for reminding me to update my profile. I actually drive a 2012 x5 sav. Probably newer and nicer than yours.

But back to the point. I was merely pointing out the stupidity of posting on a forum that he was texting and driving. Which is exactly what he did. But I even said in my last post that I would drop it. But I promise you, if you knew anyone who was impacted by a txtng and driving incident you would not be so quick to be an asshole about what I posted.

And since I'm not a football fan I can care less about the giants. But since I am human I would like to tell you I'm happy for your team that they can enjoy the OFF season as nobody gives a **** about them anymore this year.

So climb off your sister, put down the spittoon, go kill some deer or whatever backwards ass hick stuff you normally do on weekends because I care as much about your Redneck opinions as I do about the dump I just flushed while typing this.

Have a nice weekend

Go Toyos...

We put the Conits on my wife's Audi TT. They have soft sidewall, and ride very well on the TT. I think they might be a bit softer than the ST2s... I'd stay with the ST2s, had them on my 4.8 for 2 years and will replace them with same when needed.
