Angry BMW Incentives - :(

I was ready to pull the trigger on 2012 X5 and when I saw the final numbers the price was almost more by $3K.

Looks like BMW puled out all the icentives for January

- Navigation Credit
- $1000 if you finance from BMW
- $1000 loyalty credit

Did an one ought recently and were able to get these incentives. My dealer telles me that these are no longer valid.

Also any insight in to what icentives may be comming for February 2012?

I knwo as of now BMW has 0.9% financing for 36 months and 1.9% for 60 months. When I priced it in december the incentives were really good even though the financing was 1.95 for 36 and 3.99 for 60 months that time.

Any insight will be apprecited.

Yeah u needed to lockin last month...

Big incentives wont be coming unless sales are significantly down.

You will not get 1.9% rate along with $1000 financial credit. I bought my 2012 X5 in December with Navigation credit + $1000 financial credit but my 60 months interest rate was 3.9%. I just refinanced my 60mo BMW loan with a credit union (2.5% for 60mo).

BMW will not offer the $1000 financial credit with low interest rate.

Insights?

Yeah, remember all the hoopla about BMW beating MB as the 'number one luxury car marque'??? THAT was why they had those incentives.

IMO you will not see a return for a while (spring?)...some, but not that extent.

2 cents

Even if BMW comes back with 1730 navigation credit, I can pull the trigger and place the order.

Any insight.

If they do, and keep the mf and residual the same on the Diesel, I'll order one the same day. As much as I want to go with another bimmer, the ML Bluetec is almost $200 less a month. I'll pay an extra $100 just for the ride. And even swap out the Run flats to drive on the beach. But when I consider that X5D now leases for 30% more than the ML which already has regular, non-run flat tires, it becomes a no brainier. BMW I hope you are listening. Currently there is no incentive for loyalty whatsoever. My past three cars were bimmers, but when MB is offering $2000 jut to have my business, they have my attention.
