Exclamation 2004 x3 4wd light wont go out no 4wd

My 4wd light wont go out and the truck will only go in rear wheel ...any suggestions would be really appreciated

there is a little switch plug in for controlling that,,, maybe it got plugged out,,,, i saw this on youtube but cant find the vid,,, it should be sometype of fuse... check fuse box thats all i could think of... good luck

I had that issue. It was a position sensor that went out. Dealer repaired. I have read elsewhere that it could be worse. If the main DSC is bad I think several thousand...the sensor was about $175.
