Wiper Blade Spoiler question
In trying to figure out the wind noise that I hear from the dash (see http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho....php?p=5957589 ), I noticed that the wiper blade spoiler on the right doesn't have a piece of rubber running along the underside of it, as opposed to the left side where it does. The "spoiler" is the name of the airfoil thing that helps push down the wiper at speed. I was wondering if anyone could confirm that both spoilers are supposed to have this rubber strip. If mine is missing, I'll order a new one and see if that makes a difference. Thanks.

Check for missing jack pads, if missing they will also make noise.

Thanks. If you look at the thread I linked, I've checked quite a few things already including the jack pads. I'm running out of things to check.

bobdmac,
Do you have any problems with excessive wind noise? If not, then I can save my money and time worrying about that. |

I just ordered 2 wiper blade spoilers and the right one doesn't have the rubber, then I returned them both and called the company to send me two new ones and told him that the right one doesn't have the rubber. so he sent me two new ones and said he would make sure that they are complete. I just received the new package and yet again the right one doesn't have the rubber. so I assume it is made that way...
