F30 335i Lease price ED vs Non ED

Hi Everyone
I just love the looks for the new 3 series and have been dreaming about it every night.
I am trying to get a BMW on lease. Due to the face that I am here on H1 Visa which is just valid for around 34 months I can get the lease either for 24mo or 30 mo.
I am looking for a 335i, Sports Line with Premium Package, Premium Sound and Parking package.
I am using BMWConfig and the MSRP for US delivery is 49395 and ED invoice is 42770. Lets say that the dealer give it to me for 1000 over invoice, lets say that the ED price for me is 43770.
If I am expecting a residual of 0.62 and MF of 0.0022 for 30 months,
I am seeing lease/mo of 565 for ED and 665 for US delivery.
Given that there is a difference 6500 (49395-42770) between the US price and my ED price, I was expecting the difference in lease to be at least 200. For a difference $100 a month, I would not be able to endure the wait of ordering and two months wait for pre delivery.

Am I doing something wrong here.
Would people recommend a 24 month or a 30 month lease.

Would really appreciate your help on this.

Thanks

Have you tried going in to a dealership and claiming one of the units they have on the way for $1000 over invoice? You'd have to find someone that has access to the production units that are coming. Bring a $1000 deposit in w/ you and tell them you're ready to commit and see if they'll bite on the price.

I seriously doubt that this is going to work for the next 5-6 months. Apart from that there is still a 3k difference between the ED MSRP and the US MSRP.

ah sorry i didn't read your OP carefully enough... that being said, you're calculating differences between ED Invoice and MSRP. I thought I saw posters stating they have ordered at or around $1000 over US Invoice which is what only a few grand over what your ED Invoice + $1000. Email some internet sales reps with an offer and see what they can do. Takes little effort and you may be surprised.

You need to go to the ED forum. For ED BMWFS makes your second lease payment, because your car is in transit. But, you pay a 0.0003 premium on the money factor.

www.leasecompare.com has a good lease calculator.

Do you need the automatic parallel parking feature? If not you don't need the Parking Pkg. You can get the other components as stand alone options for less money.
