E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

On a 5 series it does. Not sure on a 1 series.

Yes the button is backlit. (The wording lights up.) Even more fun is what happens when you're driving along and hit the 'start/stop' button? Only one way to find out . . . ; -)

Yes, the Start/Stop button is lit whenever the vehicle is "ready". Notice that if you've left the car sitting for a couple minutes, the light is off, but the moment you open a door or the bootlid, it relights.

help me

I did it and it appear: CC-ID 397. What is that? I know that is something related with start/stop system. I don't know why, but yesterday I had oil for 11000km and today I had oil for 0 kms and that problem (397).

Pushing the start stop button does nothing just by hitting it, but if you hold it for the count of 2 it will shut the engine off.
