RENNtech vs Evolve 335d Tune

Also, those of you interested more about RENNtech just do a search for RENNtech 335iS in youtube or even Google it.

The tune I am running from RENNtech is a test, and I think this test stage is nearing its end, as I ran the car 35 times on the PBIR drag strip in 91*-95* ambient temps.

No limp modes, no fault codes and was the fastest street driven BMW at the event

Prelude to the private track event on May 6 2012



Heads up with a first timer running JB4 Map 7, DCI, DPs, + E85



At this event, I know it was going to be hot so I swapped out the stock intake for the aFe Stage 2 Sealed Intake with custom sealing and held consistent ET of 12.2 and speed traps 113-115

With the stock air box in low 70 temps I am consistent ET 12.0 almost breaking 11s, and of course with no aftermaker DPs

Edit: Here is what my Dashdyno was reporting:

AFM @ WOT 138-142 avrg / Peak 160
Ambient Temps 91-92 degrees
Intake Temps 108 - 123 (normal driving and idle) / @ WOT 132-138 degrees

Yes, I believe so. I might get a '12 X5d to replace the 335i since BMW purchase APR promo its very appealing for the rainy & mild towing days in Florida.

WOW!! Glad to see another RENNtech homey I will be there tomorrow we have to do reflash on my ECU the dealer down here did their flash because of the EGR issue, will be there 9a and then fly out of Ft Laud.

@BuraQ Lenny gave me the latest Flash for my 335d and he gave me a higher TOP END in the flash, the car feels like a MONSTER now, Talk to him to see if he can give u an upgrade to where I am at ok

I am pretty certain what you got sprong from their finalization on the 335iS or was influenced therefrom. However I will still drop him a line and see if they came up with any new developments. They are 15 minute drive from me.

Everyone is anxiously waiting for me to break 11s. However the only way of doing that now in this inferno of a heat in Florida is to teach someone how to launch the DCT that is 100 lbs lighter than me. I weigh 255 lbs, even someone 50 lbs would do the job, but of course there will be those people that will cry it doesnt count cause I had someone else drive.

Got highflow cats DPs installed less than a month ago, and just waiting for fall to arive for the temps to drop back down to in the low 70°
