Apparently you don't understand political correctness - we're on a BMW website.

BMW= Good

Lexus = Bad

Maybe we can ask Philippe for the new JD (Japanese Delivery) Special now...j/k

I had him for one of my last ED (the 535i M-Sport). He is the best man regarding ED (and Greg Poland as well )He left South Bay BMW right before my car was redeliver, but his successor did a great job...but he didn't tell me he went to Lexus...

Anyway good luck Philippe!

Looking around for info on European delivery, I found this thread. Saw reference to YouTube videos of this Phillipe Khan, and on YouTube did a search. The first video that came up is from August and in it, Khan says Lexus didn't work out and he is back with BMW - in Beverly Hills.

I wonder if Phillipe renewed his sponsorship with the 'fest? Jon would know I am sure.

Well, since Phillipe is back in the fold, perhaps he will see these posts and take them as a reminder that he should resume his 'fest sponsorship!

Now that you mention it Phillipe is just "mentioned" in the posts -- he might not be posting at all (his loss).

Maybe he jumped ship to Mercedes -- or he is just selling Kia's in Turlock.

It is good to see such loyalty to a salesperson. It's curious that he would go to Lexus though, isn't it?

Is that where he wound up? I thought he left that job for parts unknown (Kia in Turlock?).

I can confirm that Philippe Kahn was working at Beverly Hills BMW as of late 2012. I purchased a car through him because he was able to offer the best deal at that time, compare to other dealers/sales. I do not know if he is still there as of today.

However my experience with him after signing on the dotted line wasn't that great. Able to offer the best deal but afterward, complete lack of service. Scheduled an appointment with him to do a run-through of the car ... I showed up at the scheduled time and date, and he wasn't there. No phone call or email to cancel. Wasted trip out there. Called and emailed him again afterward to reschedule and never heard from again.

On top of that, Beverly Hills BMW was a real pain and frustrating dealership to work with.

Just FYI - hopefully other people will have better experience.

Phillipe may have been on his way out the door at BH so (giving the benefit of the doubt) he might not have been there to do any follow up. You might have been his last customer there. Just a thought.
