7 Series - E65 / E66 (2002 - 2008)
Discussion of BMW's 4th generation E65/E66 7 Series flagship. The E65 generated much controversy, due to its radical styling and iDrive user difficulties. Nonetheless, the E65 broke records to become the best-selling 7-series iteration ever, especially after its 2005 facelift.

I'm not sure if Drastic solved his problem ,
maybe some details on any work you done before the errors
came up , would help you get some answers ...

One to spice this tread up

OK so here is my deal. i have a 2007 750li i did a set of valve cover gaskets on about a month ago. cust brought it back complaining of the low oil pressure light and check engine light one. car runs like crap by the way. which is odd because we put almost 10 miles on the car before we let it go. so i have looked at everything i can think of. but i keep getting a code for a communication problem with the intake cam sensor for the drivers side. i cant even get the car to fire up now. we have ohmed out all of the wires, tried swapping all of the sensors around, i have even pulled all four vanos soliniods, cleaned them and reinstalled. i have re-pulled the valve cover and inspected for anything and nothing. i have smoke tested the car about five times now looking for and air leak and hey nothing. so now i have done the dreaded and put a DME in an for the big slap in the face... still the same problem... i am at a loose and not sure where to look from here. any idea?

I put everything back exactly how it came off. I also ordered the peake code reader just to get the error codes but I am wondering if I have to do something else. I am avoiding having to bring the car to the dealership because I know I will get all kinds of BS from them.
Did you ever get this problem fixed? I have the same problem after replacing gaskets too.
