Question The Mileage Hammer

Hey guys, I'm very very new to BMW and the M3. I'd like your opinion on my special case. I'm taking a serious look at the e46 m3 as a commuter. I have my sites on one with 55k miles and the 6mt. The special thing about my commute is that its a 90mile band of freeway with a 70mph speed limit and no traffic. My total daily commute will be around 180miles and I needed something that'd keep me awake(enter m3). BUT im concerned about the amount of money ill need to invest to keep it alive and well, ill be doing somewhere slightly north of 40k miles per year for about 1.5-2 years. Which is massive for any vehicle. My oil changes will be done every 5k miles using Redline full synthetic oil. Trans, diff, coolant, power steering, brake fluid(ate super blue) will all be done annually as well as the valve adjustment. What else should I be worried about with major maintenance? Am I bat**** crazy for thinking about using an M3 as a commuter?

Thanks for your opinions and input.
