EAS Dynos - 2012 Mineral Gray BMW F30 328i Photos & Dyno - 226hp / 230ft-lbs
One of our good friends stopped by our shop yesterday to show us his brand new F30 328i in Mineral Gray. Being one of the first F30s in California, we took the chance to take a few photos and strap it on the dyno. Max 226hp and max 230ft-lbs. Enjoy the video!

That wood trim is fugly. Other than that, car looks awesome. I really like the turbine rims.

The Mineral Grey looks gorgeous!!! Which I'm happy to see, b/c my 335i went into production today in that color!

According to the folks at the BMW Welt, the most popular color is black, followed (not closely) by gray, followed (not closely) by white. I was actually surprised to hear that. I would have thought it would be white, black, gray.

I'm not surprised by the black thing... I love black cars, but am avoiding one b/c there are so many black Bimmers on the streets in Dallas (and they are so hard to keep clean)

Nice exterior but every 3 rd car on the road now is gray/silver. Wow, that's a pretty hideous interior.

328i on the Dyno
The result was a very impressive 226whp... yes, horsepower at the wheel. This should translate to somewhere between 265 and 272 horsepower at the crank.
