Why do we need another OT thread, when the real, live semi-original* one is going so well? At 2052 pages, 51k posts and almost a million views, all an alternate OT thread will do is slow the progress of the long-running and much loved OT thread.
* Semi-original, because we had tried one years ago that died a quick and grizzly death. Why it failed and the 2052+ page monster has survived, I couldn't say.
