Hi,
my bluetooth telephone is working ,but...
I have fault of TCU

Code 00A376 - TCU: Communication with telephone handset disrupted
Telephone number can't be selected via the telephone control panel

In MMI, HARDKEY_ASK is active

original telephone is moved out like in facelifted E65

Afterwards i will post instructions with photos what and how i did

Any ideas?

Have you deleted your old phone from your VO? Remove $639 and add $633?

For upgrade we need:

* Facelifted display MMI LCI
* Module TCU 1.5 MOST ECE
* 54-PIN connector and fiber optic 2-PIN connector (before 3.2003)
* NCS EXPERT
* TOOL32

FA change

$ 638 - CAR TELEPHONE PROFESSIONAL
or
$ 630 - CAR PHONE WITH CORDLESS RECEIVER
to
$ 633 - PREP., TELEPHONE SIEMENS HANDSET, FRONT

I didn't change production date in FA

My is 12.2002

MMI change
Remove grille by pulling it up and unscrew the 3 bolts on top of display
After replacing you need coding the MMI by empty .man in NCS Expert
Then make active functions:

ECE_TELEFON --> active
TEL_BLUETOOTH --> active
BLUETOOTH_HANDY --> active

Remove the old TCU module and instal TCU 1,5MOST ECE

SIEMENS Module up to 03.2003

TCU module 1.5 MOST ECE

If you have a car after March 2003 you only need to replace TCU to the TCU 1.5 MOST ECE
connectors will be the same, only one little change can be necessary to rework Need to crop the 54-pin connector (red marks on photos)
Before March 2003 with the old module SIEMENS you will need repin two connectors 12-pin and 26-pin to one 54-pin and separate 2-pin fiber optic connector
Best to cut them out from E65 or E60
Replace them in the following way

Connector 12-pin ------------> 54-pin

1 black insulated ----------> 21
4 red black ----------------> 15
7 white ---------------------> 1
8 brown and white --------> 19
9 gray (gray) --------------> 31
10 cream --------------------> 50

Connector 26-pin -------------> 54-pin

13 red-green ---------------> 17
17 blue-red -----------------> 12
18 red -----------------------> 13
26 brown-black -------------> 36

If you have bought a connector cut from some E65 54-pin cable colors certainly will be the same
Replace cables from connectors 12-pin and 26-pin to 54-pin

fiber connector easily remove out from the 2-pin connector and insert into previously purchased 2-pin cover of connector

COVER PARTS NUMBER connector 54PIN
[U] BMW 6 920 068 [/ u]
TYCO 1-1452260-1
*****1-1452259-1
DICE INTERNAL PARTS NUMBER PIN 37-54
[U] BMW 6 920 064 [/ u]
TYCO 1452221-1
DICE INTERNAL PARTS NUMBER PIN 1-36
[U] BMW 6 920 062 [/ u]
TYCO 1452220-1

Red marks on photos its place where need to crop connector 54-pin

Below original facelifted E65 LCI connector 54-pin with original cables
Just replace cables from 12-pin and 26-pin connectors to the same colors in 54-pin connector

After replace rest of cables leave with connector. I'm not sure but I think they are from the phone in a drawer

Replaced cables below
12-pin and 26-pin to 54-pin

That is rest of telephone cables with connector 26pin which you have to hide somewhere

Connect antenna cables by colors of stickers on the module
Bluetooth antenna cream to cream icon on TCU
Black to black

Tool32 run, then load SDGB, group file and find TELE60_3.prg enter the VIN with the last character by using the FG_Schreiben function

Code your new module by NCS Expert with empty .man

On display in the SETTINGS choose PHONE option then turn it on, and then PAIRING BLUETOOTH

On your phone, the display shows the new device BMW ***** , click, connect
Then the PIN number from the sticker on the TCU module
We have a connection, contacts imported into our car
Done

It's best to raplace telephone out and buy a rubber insert in the drawer like in facelift E65 (less unnecessary deburring)
by the way we gain one more storage

On the module are two additional stickers that sticks in selected locations, like on the door pillar to have easy access to the pin

Is that the actual TCU that you put in your car and giving you problems?
I had the exact same one before, and couldn't get it to work properly, and realised that it's too "new" for the car, had to buy an older one and no more problems.
