new here intro

Hey guys i'm new here but not to BMW and have been on the "other guys forum" for some time now thought I would check this forum out.
I read the- read this before posting "how to ask smart questions" stickey and I guess thats way I was looking here for a change of senery. I guess i was tiring of the will these rims fit my car and how can I make my m40 faster questions. Don't get me wrong there is alot of accurate knowledge at the other guys forum just needed a change I guess.
So if anybody cares this is what i have done to my 96 328ic:
complete cooling system ovehaul
Front and rear shocks and stuts
complete front suspension
alternator
powersteering resivior
belts
CPS,idle control valve. all vacuume lines, you know all those goodies under your intake.
re do door panel supports
auto trans filter and fluid change
rear diff fluid change
intake and valve cover gaskets
alot of engine compartment cleaning

things I my ask questions here about only after I search
Putting on a new top
re upolster my seats
how to fix the bubbled centers of my door panels
ETC.ETC

I actually do more reading of posts than responding all the info is there if you know where to look
well thats all for now folks

There's still the "will these rims fit my car?" and "how do it make my m40 faster?" questions. Lol but welcome.

Welcome bruh! We are a little more close knit on this forum than other forums, but still has lots of useful information..

intro thread was pretty good, except you made a rookie mistake and didn't post any pictures

I can't "officially" welcome you till you post some up

Yeah, rule number one for a proper introduction is to post photos of your E36!

Anyhow, there is nothing that can be done to fix the bubbles in your door panels. Unfortunately, I am not kidding. The material has changed shape over time due to heat and cannot be fixed without totally replacing that material. In other words, you can't simply glue down the bubbles or something simple like that.

So, when are you planning to do a 5-speed swap?

my bad i'll try to figure out the photos all the ones I have are to big as far as the door panels bubble from what I gather they are melted in with plastic rivets I don't mind trying to pry them apart then epoxy them back together after I redo cover. I,m trying to find a door panel at my u-pullit place but not many BMW's with any parts left there.

I didn't mention in my intro but I'm really not one to modify eveything I have done is to bring my car back to life just how it left the showroom floor when it was new.
thats just me

For the 'too big' photo's, just use something like photobucket.com or tinypic.com to upload them. They both oft resize at least a little for web.

The majority of us here (and the few we've not run off yet ) go for the stock or 'stock modified' look for our cars. As per Sama above, you'll not really be 'welcomed' here without pics. Sorry, but it's the rules.
