16" Style 5 on 87' 535i, need spacer and hub extender?

I got a set of 16" style 5 wheels with 225/16/55 tires on them. I installed them and noticed the fronts are rubbin the struts. From what I researched, I need at least a 5pm spacer. I also saw a post about needing to get hub extenders because with the spacers, the wheels does not have enough space to rest/sit on. Is this true? I assume I will need extended screws too.

Any advice?

Ebay have a few different hub extender kits ranging in sizes i got a 40 mm kit from there to fit 17" wheels on my 88 525e
