Whats the best angel eyes?

Ive read the thre to four threads about upgrading angel eyes. from LED to HID to different bulbs. I don't wannae drill new holes in the cap or plice into wires for power. I want something plug and play. I know the PIAA are plug and play but they seem dimmer than the stock but just blue hue instead of yellow. THen theres the NOKYA H8, but im not too confident that its plug and play. It looks like it from the picture below but then theres that tubular thing. Does anyone know or have expereince with that brand?

That is the capacitor to keep them from coding.... I was not that happy with them... they are not bright enough. I am trying a HID kit tomorrow morning... However if you use the "search" function, you will find about 100 pages worth of discussions on this topic... Hope that helps!

i upgraded the angel eyes on my 2011 750i using the kit from http://www.alpinemss.com/product_p/hidan.htm. I love it. I am attaching pictures of before and after. 3rd picture shows one original and one upgraded. Easy install. Cost 179. Has been using them for 2 weeks. No problems. Very happy.

Hi Stephen,

Since you installed the HID angel eyes LED, did you have any issue or problem with it.
I consider doing it myself as well.

Thanks for your time.

I have Lux V3s in my X6 and have been pretty happy with them. DTEC v7s are suppose to be comparable. Unfortunately, i don't think either will work with the F01/2.

Headlights

I did love them, but they ended up melting headlights and had to have my entire headlight assemblies replaced.

It is cheap. Too good to be true. I hope it does not melt the core. If it is working without melting nor any error code I will buy it with a heartbeat.

The longest I have driven the car non stop so far is 30 minutes and checked to make sure they not overheating and sure enough....they were not. They have the aluminum housing that helps disperse the heat.
I will probably run them longer this weekend and let you know.
