2012 5.0 x 6 12,000 miles, have any of you had problems getting your car back in to park from drive or reverse. When parking and needed to go back and forth between R and D then try to put gear box into park! IT stops in N..You have to push it 2nd time for P. I noticed this several time and have gotten out of the car while it was not in gear! Took it to the dealer today for 12,000 service, explaned the problems: They have to change out the gear control...it has issues...Just wanted all to know. The car should always so in to P when pushed. It should not stop at N and then have to pust it to P again!

put in P when ready to park or stop.
if you need moving your car, but with engine off, so put in N.

the problem is not that the car will not go in to park! I am awaire of putting the car in n for movet...The issue is when you try going back and forth when parking the car. It will not go into p when finished. It has been determind there is an issue with the gear software! It is being replaced. This was a heads up notice to members!
