E for Entwicklung, F for Future... or F for Floaty?

A lot of people refer to the F chassis cars as fat or floaty compared to their predecessors. Is BMW playing with us and having their "F" chassis designation really stand for Floaty? or Fat? Instead of Future (which seems lame anyway)

E words I can think of are Engaging, Enthusiastic, Energizing... all words that people use to describe E-chassis cars.

BTW, I really like my "floaty" F04

The one thing BMW will never recapture again is how cool the F Chassis code names are. I mean, you can't beat having an "F10". Makes the cars sound like Fighter Jets.

The G chassis cars might appease some in that regard as it'll sound reminiscent to Private Jets (as opposed to Fighter Jets, still not as cool), but how about after that? Total Lamesville when we get the "H10", "I10", "J10", etc.
