Tinting Tail Lights

and the finished product installed

im going to check out the tint today and see if its worth it. will keep you guys updated soon in case some people are wondering which one to do

I went with medium smoke and I feel it's perfect. It's still see through to where you can see the red as a cherry and the white as a grey. And I get a nice tint shade of darkness. Had I gone darker I feel maybe it could've been an issue, I don't know.

That's how I like it. I'm gonna do basically the same thing that I did to my cadi. It's dark but not black (no rice lol)

Haha. It's nice because when it's cloudy I still get that darker look since there isn't much light to shine thru.

Yup that's true and also at night it looks really dark. I only got one smoked lights ticket in almost 2 years of driving my V and never during the past 2 to 3 years of having my lights smoked so hopefully I won't get tickets with the 7. It's only $25 but it's a waste of time

Very true. I believe I have 35% tint (car came with it) and it being a cloudy day, a motorcycle cop got his sight on me. I guess it might've looked darker. He was going opposite way too.

Haha yea and what's really cool is when you cat compliments from cops lol that's when you really know you did a good job I'll post some funny pix soon so you can see what I'm talking about

If not, click on the blue highlighted url directory at the top of the page at the /lights section and it will list how to remove/replace any of your exterior light fixtures.
