Bulge in Right Front Tire - Replacement Thoughts?

When I was walking out of the local breakfast joint this morning I noticed my 2012 f30 335i has a bulge in the right front (passenger) side tire.

There has been a lot of resurfacing going on in roads around our neighborhood so I think the bumps finally took their toll on my sidewall.

The 335i has 20k or so miles on it and I got it at 11k. I don't think the previous owner replaced the original tires but I took it in to look at a nail in my other front tire a couple of months ago and they said the tread wear was fine.

Either way I was thinking of replacing all 4 tires now so I don't get the timing out of sync.

This is a daily driver that might see ice / snow two days out of the entire year (I am in Texas).

I had Michelin super sports on the speed 3 I had before this that ran great and lasted well over 15k-20k with plenty of tread left. I was thinking of doing the same here if they have the right size. While the price is more per tire I got way more life out of them than the 3 other sets of tires I tried in the past.

Thoughts?

Edit: I forgot to mention that I don't have a spare or donut due to having run-flats and varying tire sizes. Any suggestions on getting one for future emergency use?

Are you asking if the bulge mentioned ought to be the stimulus for changing out your tires? If so a photo will help because there are bulgs, and then there are bulges.

I mean that some tires seem to come to a place where they have ridges or an uneven sidewall appearance that can be alarming but may or may not be a problem.

Or a tire may have a breakdown in the structure which has allowed air to escape between layers of the sidewall and those are almost always a near case problem. Like a bubble, or a balloon the bulge could break at any time and you have a blown out flat tire useless to anyone.

Can you push on the surface with a finger and does it depress under your meager pressure? Change it soon.
