Dealer activated Convenience Access

2009 Z4 with Nav/Idrive here.

Can the dealer activate/add/enable "Convenience Access" on an aftermarket basis?

The dealer cannot activate CA.

I doubt you would want to pay the cost of retrofitting CA on to your vehicle as it would likely run you well in the area of $1K. The Comfort access control unit alone is PN 61359134708 @ $332.35. Not to mention the wiring harness, labor and anyother hardware requirements.

It's been my experience that when someone says you can't, you usually can. if the part is required... order it and get to work. coding is easy, installation is probably plug and play. game on!
