Another 330i SP and 330i ZHP difference

While cleaning the engine bay of my wife's 330i SP yesterday, I noticed that the MAF unit has different connector to that of my 330 ZHP. Since both cars are of the same model year, I assumed that it was a different unit not just different connector. Any thought on this?

I guess they have different MAF's as well. Another reason it's nice to have a factory tuned engine.

You can believe what you want but the ETK does not list a seperate part number for the mass air sensor for the 330i, performance package or no.

There was a running change in PN/design of the MAS starting September 02 production, there may have been another running production change somewhere along the line. My ETK is only updated to 09/03. Could've easily been another running change in the PN/design of the MAS for all the 330i's.

So you're saying that it's the same MAF, just a different connector?
