1997 Z3 1.9 Idle

Our Z3 4 cyl runs very well for the most part. At max operating temperature the idle is not smooth, not rough, just unsteady and kind of low. Plugs are new, any help out there? Thank you for a good website.

Four cylinder engines are not as smooth at idle as engines with more cylinders. If you haven't owned a 4 cylinder before it might normal.
