E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135. |

62 mpg 116d EfficientDynamics Edition to be presented in Geneva
BMW will present the new 116d EfficientDynamics Edition at the Geneva show in a few weeks. I'll be driving to the show from Munich (admittedly in an Audi A8 TDI) so I will have live photos and report more then.
In the meantime, BMW released one image and some details, including its 62 mpg fuel economy in the European test cycle. It probably won't make it to the U.S., unfortunately. BMW to Debut 62 mpg 116d EfficientDynamics Edition at 2012 Geneva Motor Show Quote:

BMW should be selling the F20 125i and 120d in the US.
The 116d ED isn't fast enough for Americans.
