I have a 2006 330I that I want to put a double din deck in. I have been unable to find anyone who has experience with the Logic 7 system and bypassing the original amp as required. They say it is not easy to do because you basically have to rewire it all....but the only guy I found quoted me $1200 for labor alone plus wiring.
Any suggesstions or referrals would be appreciated. Thanks |

You need to go to this stereo sub forum
And read the stickys relating to upgrades.
Most installers don't know how to deal with this system and head units are hard to install and have serious side effects. http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=27 The logic 7 system is a pinta because of the fiberoptic connection to the amp. There are no aftermarket head units that will interface with the L7 amp. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=641323 Entry 11 in the above thread deals with aftermarket head unit s but you should read the rest of the thread to. Musicar of Portland are the US experts on the e9x there are a few installers in the Bay Area that have done there kits or are now making clone kits. These are not cheap to retrofit because nothing standard fits or interfaces easily. Last edited by ctuna; 02-23-2012 at 09:45 PM. |
