Timing chain tensioner location

Can someone please send me a picture or diagram or explain where the TIMING CHAIN TENSIONER LOCATION is on a E46 BMW 2001.

Your help will be much appreciated!!

Your referring to the VANOS. If your having problems with it read this.

Mal, you posted a picture of the cam sprockets, the VANOS goes on the front. OP, see the below picture, I circled the timing chain tensioner for the upper portion of the engine.

You remove the VANOS to have access.
