It appears that Ken was right. I swapped in an S50 tune, and put the 3" MAF and 17lb injectors back in. Went for a run, brought it to redline several times, and the CEL didn't come on once.

So I'm pretty sure we can confirm that the problem is in fact the tune?

I had a custom tune from our good friend, HakenTT. Can't complain, though. I basically got it for free.

Frank's friend will likely be hooking me up with a tune for pretty cheap.

Put the new tune in. It was from Jordan (rk-tunes). Here's a video, way too much wheelspin, but you get the point. No more CEL



Doesn't feel any faster, but it's probably running better now that the CEL isn't coming on.

I forgot that the non-M tachs stop at 7k instead of 8k. (Like the M has any reason to read higher in the first place )

So for a second I was like "DEAR GOD MAN, what are you doing?!?! .....oh, right"

Faster, lol. Definitely much more low-end power. The top end isn't as drastically different, but still a great improvement. I wish I still had the 3.45 diff in there, though. Then it would really take off.

Starting to wonder what Jordan used for redline in his tune. My last tune went to 6800, and I went up to 7k in the video without hitting the fuel limiter. I'll find out soon enough, I guess.

Keep it to 7k, you never know when you bounce it off the limiter if it will go up a little past that. I know mine does lol.
