location of the fuel shut off switch 1994 530

Hello everyone. I just bought a 1994 530 from this older woman who crashed it. Its very minor damage as far I am concerned ( air bags did not go off and no leaking from radiator) however it seems to not have any fuel reaching the engine. Where is the fuel shut off switch in this thing. I wanna get past this, get it running and throw my coilovers on ! Thanks guys....

Try looking at the brown crash control relay in the fusebox up front.

Either K16 or N17.

Post just so i understand....

So just so I understand....you are telling me there is no button to push in the trunk.... I thought there was a fuel inertia cut off switch in the trunk. What does that relay box under the hood do? Thank you for your help.

No, I do see what your saying.

Some cars (my 1987 jag VP) have an inertia switch with a reset button.

The E34 does not have a reset button, only a one-time-use inertia switch.
Actually there are two inertia switches,
the one in the fusebox pictured above that controls the high beam and hazard flashers and I THINK the fuel pump. Though I have not experimented with it people have had success with starting after an accident after replacing this inertia switch.

The second inertia switch is located beneath the back seat next to the trans tunnel. It is blue in color and has a metal ball bearing that presses a pressure switch inside upon severe impact. I HAVE experimented with this switch. If you lock the car with ign. in pos. 2 you can hit the area next to the trans tunnel with a hammer and cause the doors to unlock.

So, blurb aside. The inertia switch (actually its not a relay, but it looks like one) above should control the fuel pump.
BUT, check these first before buying a new inertia switch:
-fuel pump fuse, same fusebox
-fuel pump relay under the E-box, opposite side of engine compartment relative to the fusebox.
