It's not problem for a muffler shop. The most likely route would be a sleeve over the two pipes then weld that. You can also butt weld two identical pipes together but it's not as strong and takes some skill.

Thank you again yorgi. im thinking a bout buy a x pipe kit from summit sum-642122 and install myself.. what do you think about it? ITs better a 2.25 or 2.50 for better air flow?

That is an great install price. I called 5 shops and they all wanted at least one hour of labor charge, $75 to $90 for an install. I wish I had a $30 option...

Thanks for the pics!!!. Where did you get the two straight pipes? I want to put the x pipe where the box resonator is situated now and put straight pipes where the two twins canister....

I would most likely be interested in the mufflers. The only thing that I don't like is the oval tips with a circular bumper. It really makes it look like it isn't designed for that car. Other than that the sound is awesome. I have all the resonators replaced with the x pipe in the front. I am only lacking the good sound quality of some nice mufflers.

Interesting, because the OEM tips are oval, just not as wide and when I was selecting tips I wanted something that looks like it could have came that way. They fit in the bumper cutouts with like 1/4" inch to spare on each side.

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't get any part #s because everything was supplied and customized in house, the inlets are to the side so all brackets could be fabricated to match the originals, the tips were also custom made so there would not be a need to cut my bumper. My 1st choice was to use custom black chrome oval tips but the shop said they would turn gold after awhile. I think I will have the existing tips cut and go with a staggered quad setup.

I will call the shop and get all info you need this week, I was at the Nopi nationals this weekend (winning of course) and my friend recorded the exhaust note, I will post the link as soon as he puts it on You tube.

Brooklyn, I am curious which staggered quad tips you are considering as I love that look, any pics or urls? I am assuming u plan to wide the tip outlet in your rear bumper, correct? Thx!

Single layer dark black $159 shipped.
Titanium blue $240 shipped
The rest of the other quad tips are $139 shipped
The dimensions are 57mm inlet, outlet is 76mm, width 170mm and length 205mm. These tips can be cut another 1 inch shorter if you wish.

I am waiting on a reply from the guys who did my exhaust, If they say it can be done without much fabrication to the mufflers I will order the Blue tipped tonight.
As far as the bumper, all it would take is about 2 inches and a clean cut from a dremel.

Custom exhaust 1.5: So I ordered the titanium burnt quad tips from Dvision and just had them installed...I love the new look, even tho the previous look is only about 3 weeks old I just had to do the update.

did you have to cut the bumper openings to fit the dual tips?

About 1 inch and a 1/2 was cut off on both sides, the only way you can tell is if your actually working on the exhaust or a geometry professor...lol.

I just realized I left the old tips that were only 3 weeks old, if they still have them and someone wants them they can have them free of charge (add shipping of course).

+1 I've gone here before on Steve's reccomendation. Small shop, but top quality! I'm planning on eventually going back to delete the back resonator & maybe swap out the mufflers. Front resonator delete for me cost $45.
