Seats Sliding When Brakes Applied

My 1998 Z3 has an issue with the seats sliding forward when the brakes are applied. I saw an older thread where a Power Point presentation was circulating instructing how to fix this problem. Can anyone help with this problem?

Which is actually from esmerelda's page:

Thank you for the Instructions! Headlight Lens Issue

Thank you for the information on the sliding seats issue. Now, for the cloudy headlights. I can't seem to locate new headlight lens for a 1998 Z3. My lens are so cloudy, I know it is having an impact on the visibility. I can only seem to locate the polishing kits.

Glove Compartment

One more thing, I have a sagging glove compartment. I have owned my Z3 for 12 years and I love it. But, I think it has all of the pitfalls others have complained about. I need to get her in shape for a road trip to Miami.

esmeralda's page will show the glove box fit, too.

meguiar's compound will polish the plastic lens, as well as, your rear window when it needs it. for the headlamps, you might want to put a sheepskin on your electric drill and go to town.

Headlights come as a complete unit ($400 to $500 a side). So, replacement is not the best option.

Nothing wrong with the polishing kits. The 3M kit gets good reviews.

With a random orbital polisher, any car polish will clear the clouding. Actually, hand polishing will improve the headlights.

I will definitely go the route of the polishing kit. I am glad that it can be used on rear windor. That has already been replaced due to a knife slash in a parking lot. Thank you for the information.
