radio code message

If I disconnect the battery on a 2008 X3, will I need a code to get the radio back? Any other electrical land mines?

There is no radio coding for the X3...so not a problem that way.
Some people like myself use a “settings keeper” ( 9 volt device that plugs into your cigarette lighter) just to make sure of some of the memory related functions…But most don’t ( what I see on the forum ) and rarely if ever have any problems -- if they do, it’s a simple push and hold the button - like the moon roof reset
