Seems very creepy if you ask me. I don't take these types of photos, especially since I usually share w/ the family. I can only imagine what my wife would say if I shared a card full of voyeur shots of other women.

Hey, there is no expectation of privacy in public... the court has ruled on that many times. Also, I did not post any embarassing pics of anyone, nor did I take any. I shot hundreds of pics while at the event and I just picked out a few that I thought people would enjoy. Also note, that most of the people knew full well they were being photographed by me; it is hard to miss a 6ft tall white guy sporting a full size 35mm Nikon F100 SLR with a 80-200 f2.8 zoom lens!

You guys really need to lighten up, when I bring my significant other with me next year, I am sure we will have plenty people taking pictures of us as well.

A couple of random snaps in the midst of all my other pictures really does not achieve any level perversion, unless viewed through the eyes of a self-loathing pervert!

Talk about an apples and oranges comparison... I can't see any parallel between raising money for a life and death struggle and a non-revenue-generating car show.

If a "walk for cancer" featured import cars and models I am sure there would be pics posted on the internet of them.

That's one perspective, I suppose. A rather foul one, expressed in a rather foul manner.

I see it quite differently. The sorts of mental images encapsulate in your rhetoric above never entered my mind either during the show, or afterward when looking at the dozen or so pictures that contained beautiful women out of the hundreds of pictures I took (most of them with beautiful cars, one included at the end of this response).

Rather, instead of "t!ts" and "cleavage shots" what I saw were attractive ladies, many of whom knowing they were attractive went out of their way to show off their beauty in dress and composure at a public event -- nothing that in my world is bad, or sleazy. To me, female beauty is part of the joy of life. I take "viva la differencé" quite seriously, and celebrate it.

It was a part of the event. Seems silly to me to avert one's gaze, either literally, or here on the board. No one here has made any crude statements or comments about any of these women, save your posting above rumratt. If these ladies did not want to be admired for their beauty, they would not put it on display, and many didn't. I have lots of pictures where such women also inadvertantly appeared, but it wouldn't be meaningful to a thread admiring the beautiful women that attended, their beauty being hidden from view.

I'm disappointed and saddened that some here are so cynical that they must reduce the concept of pretty girls attending this event to "t!ts" and "cleavage shots", and get so disturbed by pictures of those women at an event where beautiful ladies are a part of the culture as to find recognition of it "creepy".

I don't think there's anything creepy about it at all, and hope more show up next year. I know my wife would be both embarassed, and also highly flattered, to be admired in pictures for being physically beautiful.

Now for that beautiful car...

Well, here's another "foul" perspective: some of these "beautiful" women look like nothing but cheap ho's to me.

However, the car IS beautiful, arguably more interesting than any of the tarted up BMW's I've seen in these pics.

Tarted up babes and BMW's, hmmmmm.............

Dude, you have to lighten up! It's Southern California. There where pleanty of babes there and none seemed up set by having there pictures taken. Hey, Did anyone see that Asian chick in the tiny red sorts. I took some shots of her with my "mental cam" but none with a camera. Anybody have a butt shot?

Let us know when you and Jake will be making it to a fest, and the membership here will dutifully enumerate the acceptable dress standards for fest babes.

Heck, I'll bet you'd probably even get some actual clothing items sent in the mail

Anybody here with a wife or gf in any of these shots? Are you offended or flattered?

My girlfriend is there and I have no problem, its like seeing a pic of me, its not a big deal unless they are embarassing or inappropriate pics.
