Just wanted to say thanks for everyone's efforts and thank you to all for how welcoming you all were to us.

I am soooo glad I don't have to be the one scrubbing the bugs off the front of the rental!

p.s. to Prof. Cook

Thanks for plowing the way down I93 last evening. We didn't get a chance to wink our lights goodbye when we exited.

The M5 sounded like it was raining as we drove home through the storm of NH insects :\ poor D just cleaned his car!

Also, the entire bear-notch-to-Lincoln-over-the-kanc was a awesome!

Such a great time with everyone, really looking forward to next year!

Here are two of a couple hundred pics I have. I have a photo of every car exiting the Jackson covered bridge, and every car on the MWAR at the 4500 foot level.
If you'd like a copy PM me with a plate number, and your email addy and I'll send you a high def file. They are definitely screen saver material.

Here are a couple, one from our meet up in Lincoln where the two groups reached critical mass, and one of some of the cars at the summit.

Great people, weather and roads made for a memorable day .
I hope everyone had a great time and made it home (or to the MWH) safely .
This morning I was tempted to do the whole trip again today

Line up at the summit and some random shots of the crew.

I hit a resounding mulligan on my first upload attempt. Hopefully these look better.

Same here. I think I ended up with about 3lbs of insect guts on my front bumper and windshield.

That patch of bugs was un-bel-ievable! OMG. It sounded like light hail. I cleaned off the windshield this morning and was immediately hit with the smell of crushed bug protein.

Don't thank me. I tried to ditch you guys. John's too good a driver. Then suddenly, I looked up, and you guys were gone!

I had a feeling I wasn't the only one, it did sound like hail! I stopped at the NH/MA line to windex them off, I'll be scrubbing the rest off of the grill/lights today!

Thanks to everyone who made this event possible, this was my first C2C and we felt extremely welcomed. I am very eager to see everyone again next year. And of course, to drive Bear Notch again!

This is great! I am in Brattleboro, VT making a pit stop to feed the car and myself--I never expected to see so many photos posted already. Then again, the captain apparently packed a portable photo lab and had prints at breakfast this morning, so what's an upload or two?

Hey DSX, we missed you at the MWH last night. We were all poshing about in the lobby but could not miss noticing we were one short. Furby was there of course but you should have come anyway.

Back on the (dull compared to yesterday) ) road.... Tschüß!

An anonymous participant sent me a brief video clip... pretty much unedited. She said she might be able to do more with what she's got at a later date. I told her I'd post a link for her.

She also wanted to remind people that things look faster when you shoot with a wide angle lens and when you mount the camera low to the ground.

Prof, I have your walkie-talkie, proving that no matter how many times I remind myself to do something I still don't. Yes, that BN video does look like it was speeded up. I would destroy it anyway.
Zeich, here's the rest of the story. I got to my room at 8:30 and figured I'd just get 15 minutes shut eye. I woke up at 1:30 and found the bar empty. What's with you weenies? Were you in the bar lifted from "The Shining" ( I think your wife needs to be...corrected, Mr Torrance.) or in the lounge? Did anyone check out the view of Mt W from the lounge?
Geezer, wow nice photos and from a good angle, thanks for posting them.

Everyone, I'm going to wait a couple of days for all the Covered Bridge and MWAR requests to come in and then I'll send them out at the same sitting.

Yeah... I didn't remember either.

"BN video?" Is that where it was taken? I'll tell her to delete those files. I'll take down the link if she wants me to.

I'm not in any of the footage, ergo, I was never there. What were you guys up to anyway?

Some more pics.
First up is you playin in the snow. Or at least I thought you were playing. Next photo is of you trying out your fastball at high altitude to test whether it does travel further. I like how it almost replaces your visage.
Then there's some of Da Croo eating a good hot meal in the Summit House. Why? Take a look at the last photo, wind chill is 28F.

Can't wait for the rest of the video. Also, I'm already on the GoPro site looking at the next toy to dump money into...I mean, Investment.

Hopefully CtoC V has this year's weather, and not III's (I watched the videos )
