Congrats you two!!

Now... don't you think you need about 50 BMWs as an escort between the chapel and the reception?

No worries... you wouldn't have to actually invite us to the reception... at $30/plate or whatever, that could be a reverse wedding gift, lol. We can always go find a diner someplace. But you'd have to admit, it would make for an impressive parade.

My sincere congratulations to E92Submarine!
Having sailed to Block Island several times in years past, I know that the "secluded beaches" were ideal for watching "submarine races," but your results exceeded mine.
Well done and the best of luck to both of you!

Just finished geotagging my photos from last weekend in Lightroom 4.

It was kind of fun chasing the google map, as it has a lot more meaning after driving the roads.

BTW: If it applies, Happy Father's Day!

Congratulations! Smart man to do this after several C2tC appearances. If that didn't make her run for the hills, you must be doing something right.

All the best to both of you. When are you getting her a BMW?

Aww, reading this thread, wish I could have gone. Happy you guys had fun.

I had a good time on call and busy in OR. Maybe next year... would have been entertaining to meet more of everybody in real life.

CA, could I get a "Pothole explosions" poster? I can donate to the charity to get it if you send me a link if still active. Or I could grab it from you in New York sometime. To warn you though, I plan on further defacing it by signing it myself. Sorry.

Neap -

For a hefty profit, I'll send you the already defaced one I snagged. You can add your defacement to it, send it back to me and at C2C5 we'll see if it commands a premium price!

No problem. Give me a call the next time you are in the neighborhood. If you would like to make a contribution to the charity PM Furby.

There were four copies auctioned off at C2C4 but I still have a few of this rare item left. They are boxed up and ready to ship.
There is a discount for quantities over 500.

More photos

Here's a few more photos from the day, and our hiking day at Lonesome Lake and Flume Gorge on Sunday.

There is a picture of DSX, a moose and a horse's ass in the set. $10 to the first caller who can correctly identify all three.

I was trying to get "fly-by" sits on the way down, but I missed centering the cars on a few because folks slowed down to pose...race cars are so much easier!

Great pics, thanks. I last visited the "Flume" some 40 years ago...it hasn't changed much. Brook Trout! Break out the fly rod!

Hmm... indeed I'm sure it would! We could start a bidding war if there are anonymous bids.

CA - I'll get one in a few weekends.

I think I got the moose right. It is remarkably lifelike.

Update - turns out I was wrong about the moose. DSX is a weird looking guy.

The expression of both parties is the same, but it is the confusion generated by the antlers versus ears that catches everyone out!
[The horse's ass was a red herring deliberately selected to catch people out who have never met DSX, but were going by his forum profile...]
